The qualification is for learners who wish to become first-aiders. The qualification meets the standards required for organisations that need trained first aiders.
This qualification is suitable for learners over the age of 16.

The qualification is assessed by a practical element and oral questioning.

How long is the course?
The qualification requires learners to undertake 22 hours of learning, this is usually completed over three days.
What is included in the course?
successful learners will be issued with a QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (Management of Catastrophic Bleeding) (RQF) Certificate which is valid for 3 years.
